Managing Director of Stadgenoothousing association Stadgenoot housing association was established in 2008, following the merger of the housing corporations Het Oosten and Algemene Woningbouw Vereniging (AWV). Under Mr Van Bijdendijk’s leadership, the association developed such innovations as the Solids sustainable fitting-out concept. However, he is also a co-founder of the organisation known as ‘Koplopersalliantie’ or Trendsetters’ Alliance (a partnership of housing corporations in the region in the area of sustainable building) and the author of ‘Duurzaamheidloont!’ or Sustainability is worthwhile!
